K-Tron Premier P30 Sanitary Receiver: Newly Enhanced Custom Solution for Sanitary Food Ingredient Handling
Salina, Kansas USA (September 11, 2009) – The newly redesigned K-Tron Premier P30 sanitary receiver conveys difficult powders in applications that require a high level of sanitary design and frequent cleaning. A modular design accommodates various discharge options, quick disassembly for cleaning, volume extensions and jet filter cleaning. The modularity of the P30 has recently been enhanced with the introduction of extension modules to increase the receiving volume of bulk materials. The new design also allows ease of disassembly and cleaning, offers a new sealing and earthing feature, and is more user-friendly. The design meets cGMP sanitary requirements, with all components constructed of stainless steel (DIN 1.4404, AISI 316). The P30 (30 liter capacity), can convey up to 1800 kg/h (3960 lb/h).
Other design features include:
- Reverse jet polyester cartridge filters
- Tri clover quick release fittings and band clamps for quick disassembly
- FDA approved elastomers and sealing materials
- Steep cone angles to ensure excellent discharge
The sanitary design of the K-Tron Premier P30 is ideal for applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The P-Series family of sanitary receivers is also available in two additional models including: the P10 (10 liter capacity), can convey up to 600 kg/h (1320 lb/h); and the P100 (100 liter capacity) can convey up to 4000 kg/h (8800 lb/h).
