The Series 2400 vacuum blower is specifically designed for use with Premier‘s Series 2400 receivers. It is controlled by the microprocessor or PLC controller that commands the entire Series 2400 system and includes a vacuum breaker valve to accommodate the Series 2400‘s continuous sequencing conveying. While material is being conveyed, the vacuum breaker valve remains closed to allow material to be conveyed from the source to the receiver. While the blower is idling between call signals, it opens automatically letting outside air to be drawn.
Every blower package incorporates an industry-proven positive displacement blower and TEFC motor for dependable service. The blower is dynamically balanced, and isolation pads are positioned between the blower and the base to reduce vibration and noise. The blower package is also supported by a heavy-duty base that allows easy access for cleaning. An adjustable motor mount accommodates any motor with a NEMA bolt pattern. A heavy-duty OSHA drive guard totally encloses the drive to protect plant personnel.
All Series 2400 blowers incorporate an industryproven positive displacement blower and TEFC motor for dependable service. The blower is dynamically balanced, and isolation pads are positioned between the blower and the base to reduce vibration and noise. To promote longer blower life and give some room for field adjustments, our standard design procedure is to select a blower that will meet the requirements of the system operating at 75-80% of capacity.
A vacuum breaker valve is included with each Series 2400 blower to accommodate the continuous sequencing conveying of the Series 2400 conveying system. While material is being conveyed, the vacuum breaker valve remains closed to allow material to be conveyed from the source to the receiver. While the blower is idling between call signals it opens automatically, letting outside air to be drawn in to avoid a “dead head” condition. A vacuum relief valve is also standard to protect the blower from damage caused by above-normal operating pressure and to eliminate a “dead head” condition should the vacuum breaker valve fail.

Easy-to-read vacuum gaugeA large, easy-to-read vacuum gauge permits easy monitoring of the blower in operation. The gauge provides an indication of the vacuum at the blower inlet in inches of mercury (Hg) for operator convenience. A snubber assures the accuracy of the reading and improves the gauge’s wear life by absorbing the shocks and pulsations of the blower. |
Discharge Silencer Each Series 2400 blower is equipped with a discharge silencer to reduce the sound emissions produced by the high-speed air generated in the positive displacement blower. The silencer is designed to let air flow through with a minimum of resistance, thereby ensuring maximum blower performance. Silencers are available for vertical and horizontal configurations.
